Indian e-commerce market reaches its peak during the Diwali festive season sales. After Realme revealed that it has managed to sell over one million devices during Flipkart’s Big Billion Sale, Honor has revealed its sales data during the Diwali sales.

Honor India revealed that during the Diwali sales, the company recorded 300 percent year-on-year growth and sold over a million smartphones. It also said that the company’s fanbase increased by 32 percent.

Further, the company says that its ‘Star Product’ was the Honor 9N during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days while the Honor 8X was the bestseller in the category of devices priced between Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 15,000 during Amazon‘s Great Indian festival. It also revealed that the top five cities for sales were Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Kolkata.

Commenting on this, P Sanjeev, Vice President, Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group, said:

The record-breaking sales are a true testament of our efforts in creating the best offerings for our users and we hope to deliver by exceeding expectations in our future endeavours.

Apart from the sales, the brands online presence is growing too and is receiving positive feedback from the customers. The company claims that the Honor App Store has surpassed 10 million downloads and holds the positive 4.3 star ratings on the Google Play Store.

Honor smartphones, including 9N, 9 Lite, 7S, 9i, 7A and 10, were also made available on special prices for the Diwali season. While the festive season sales are over, the company has announced on Twitter that due to “overwhelming response”, the company has put the Honor 7S, Honor 10, Honor 9N, and Honor 7A on sale through online marketplace Flipkart till stocks last.
