Do you live in India? Do you own the Xiaomi Mi A2 and or the Motorola One Power? If your answer to both questions is yes, then you should check your phone(s) for your slice of the Android Pie update.

Mi A2 + Motorola One Power Android Pie update

Both the Mi A2 and the Motorola One Power are Android One phones and run a stock version of Android. We are not a bit surprised that both phones are getting a stable Android Pie update now.

At the beginning of the week, the Mi A2 was reported to have gotten an Android Pie beta update while a version of the Motorola One Power running Pie was seen on Geekbench a few weeks ago.

The update for the Mi A2 is 1067.7MB in size and it brings features like Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness, a new navigation system, and recommended apps and actions based on users’ context.

For the Motorola One Power, the update is said to bring longer and improved battery life, a brand new user interface with a redesigned quick settings menu and revamped split-screen. You also get the new swipe-based navigation, Dual SIM Dual VoLTE support, an improvement in camera performance (panorama and low-light images), and a simplified volume control.

The update is rolling out to both devices in India only at the moment but it should hit other regions in the coming days or weeks.

Seeing as the Mi A2 and Motorola One Power are already out of the way, we look forward to their less-powerful variants – the Mi A2 Lite and Motorola One – getting the stable update too.
