Today, Nubia has confirmed that it will be debuting the Nubia Red Magic Mars gaming smartphone on Nov. 28. The handset will be unveiled at the Shanghai VSPN E-Sports Center. Like the Xiaomi Black Shark Helo, Nubia Red Magic Mars will be arriving with Snapdragon 845 and 10 GB of RAM. Also, it will be some exciting features that are not available on Xiaomi’s gaming phone.
The AnTuTu and Master Lu benchmark scores of the Nubia Red Magic Mars were revealed in the previous week. The AnTuTu listing of the phone had revealed that the Red Magic Mars gaming phone had scored a very impressive score of 319,781 on AnTuTu. Key details such as display resolution, processor and RAM variants of the smartphone have been already revealed. However, the entire specs of the phone are still under the wraps.
Nubia has already made the smartphone available through its crowdfunding campaign. The crowdfunding price of the phone is 3,888 Yuan (~$560). Like the original Red Magic gaming phone, the upcoming Mars model will be featuring a display that supports 18:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
The Snapdragon 845 chipset is present under the hood of the device. For heat dissipating and smoother gaming performance, it is equipped with dual air and liquid cooling technologies. Nubia has revealed that the heat dissipation system of the smartphone can reduce the temperature of the phone by 13.2 degrees. The handset is equipped with a dedicated button for GameBoost mode.
It is expected to arrive with 8 GB of RAM. The highest configuration variant of the smartphone will be featuring 10 GB of RAM and an inbuilt storage of 256 GB. The smartphone is preinstalled with the latest Android 9 Pie OS. Other details such as battery size and camera configurations of the smartphone are yet to be confirmed.
Shown above is a leaked photo that was reportedly snapped during a Nubia’s internal presentation. It shows that the Red Magic Mars phone includes some features that are not available on the Black Shark Helo gaming phone. These frame buttons for 4 finger operation for gaming, 4D smart shock, real-time ear feedback, dual cooling system, DTS 7.1 channel with 3D surround sound support and Smart PA amplifier.
