The Realme U1 is an upcoming smartphone from Realme. The phone will be the first device launched following the manufacturer’s recent rebranding. It has also been confirmed to be the first phone to come with MediaTek‘s new Helio P70 chipset.
The Realme U1 is on the far right and appears as the RMX1833, the same model number as when it was seen on Geekbench. The Honor 8X is in the middle (JSN-AL00a) and the Redmi Note 6 Pro is on the right.
As you can see, the Helio P70-powered Realme U1 scored 145,021 points, beating the Kirin 710 by over 5,000 points and the Redmi Note 6 Pro by about 30,000 points. A breakdown of the score shows that the phone scored highest in the GPU test but comes after the Kirin 710 in CPU, UX, and memory tests.
Although the benchmark result doesn’t show some of the specs of the device, the image reveals the phone will have a waterdrop notch like the Realme 2 Pro.
In other news, live images of the phone’s retail box have also surfaced online. The photos show the realme U1 will come in a black recycled cardboard box with “U1” and “realme” written in the brand’s new yellow font. There is also Realme U1 written on the side of the box.
The Realme U1 is rumored to be the first of a camera-centric line with an impressive selfie camera. A photo from earlier today also revealed that the phone will come with dual rear cameras.
