Ulefone has launched the entry-level Ulefone Armor X2 which brings affordability and durability under one umbrella. The Armor X2 comes with a design and features which place it above the entry-level ranking. The price is yet to be disclosed but ulefone claims it is an affordable model. The Ulefone Armor X2 won’t really rank among the most beautiful smartphones around, same as other rugged phones around. What it lost in terms of beauty, the Armor X2 makes up in the aspect of ruggedness. It comes with an IP68 level protection against dust and water. The device also drop resistant which simply means the screen is further protected with a Gorilla Glass overlay.

On the key specification, the Armor X2 sports a 5.5-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device boasts of a Quad-core processor onboard but the specific chipset isn’t known yet.  The processor is paired with 2GB of RAM while there is 16GB of internal storage. On the camera aspect, the Ulefone Armor X2 packs a 13MP+5MP dual camera setup at the rear while the front camera is an impressive 8MP sensor that should take good photos. Further, the rugged phone houses a massive 5,500mAh battery. The phone also supports Face Unlock and there is still a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which unlocks the phone is just 0.1 seconds and allows the registration of up to 5 different fingerprints.
