Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has announced that it will be launching its new smartphone — Vivo Y95 — in the Indian market on 25th November. The company has already listed the smartphone on its website with ‘Notify Me’ option.

The phone was first launched in the Phillippines earlier this month for PHP 13,999, which roughly converts to Rs. 19,200. It comes in two color options — Starry Night Black and Aurora Red. In India, the phone is expected to be available for similar pricing of around Rs. 20,000 (approx. $283).

Vivo Y95

As for the specifications, the Vivo Y95 features a 6.22-inch notched IPS LCD HD+ display with 720 x 1520 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor clocked at 1.9GHz, along with Adreno 505 GPU.

It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot which enables you to further expand the phone’s storage capacity. Coming to the optics, the device features a dual camera setup at the back – a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with LED flash and phase detection autofocus (PDAF).

On the front side, the phone comes equipped with a 20-megapixel camera sensor with AI Face Beauty feature and selfie flash support. It also has AR technology that lets you use a lot of unique looking stickers on your selfies.

Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, OTG, GM Radio, GPS, GLONASS, and more. There’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for added protection. It runs on the FunTouch OS 4.5 UI, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and is powered by a 4,030mAh battery.
