Just a day after launching the Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone in the Indian market, Xiaomi will now start selling the phone in the country from today.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be available for purchase in India from today 12:00 PM through online marketplace Flipkart as well as Mi.com as a part of Xiaomi‘s Mi Black Friday Sale.

As for the pricing, the base model with 4GB RAM is priced at Rs. 13,999 (approximately $199) while the 6GB RAM model is priced at Rs. 15,999, which roughly converts to $227. In India, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro comes in four color options —  Black, Rose Gold, Blue, and Red.

Further, as a part of the launch offer, Jio customers will get Rs 2,400 (~$32) cashback in the form of vouchers as well as 6TB of additional data on recharges of Rs 198 and Rs 299.

Coming to the phone’s specifications, the Redmi Note 6 Pro comes equipped with a 6.26-inch IPS LCD display, featuring a larger notch since it houses two camera sensors, an earpiece, a notification LED and some other sensors.

Under the hood, Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 636 chipset powers the device, coupled with either 4GB or 6GB RAM. It packs 64GB of internal storage and comes with a microSD card that enables you to further expand the phone’s storage capacity.

As for the photography, it comes with a dual camera setup featuring a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front side too, the phone features a dual camera setup consisting of a 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors. The photography features available on the smartphone include dual-pixel autofocus, AI scene recognition, studio light photography, AI Portrait mode 2.0 and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS).

Connectivity options on the device include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB OTG, microUSB 2.0, GPS and 3.5mm headphone jack. Other features on the phone include a fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

The phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box with MIUI on top and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. It is claimed to offer 4G calling time of up to 30 hours on a single charge.
