Recently, we reported that Samsung is all set to launch a new color variant in the Indian market for the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone. While we were expecting it to be the First Snow White color variant, the company has launched a new color variant.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 gets the Limited Edition Alpine White color variant while the Galaxy S9 Plus will now also be available in a new Dual Tone Polaris Blue color variant. With this launch, the smartphone buyers in India will now choose from five color options for the Galaxy Note 9 – Alpine White, Ocean Blue, Midnight Black, Metallic Copper, and Lavender Purple, while Galaxy S9 Plus buyers can choose from six color variants – Polaris Blue, Burgundy Red, Midnight Black, Coral Blue, Lilac Purple, and the Sunrise Gold.

Galaxy Note 9, S9 Plus New Colors

The Alpine White variant for the Galaxy Note 9 is priced at Rs. 67,900 for the 128GB storage variant while the Polaris Blue color option for the Galaxy S9 Plus costs Rs. 64,900. Both the models can be pre-ordered at select platforms alongside Samsung Online Shop starting December 7, 2018.

As for the specifications, the Galaxy Note 9 features 6.4-inch QHD+ S-AMOLED screen with Infinity Display design and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor in some markets while in other markets, it is powered by the company’s own Exynos 9810 chipset.

It packs 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 512GB of internal storage. There are 12-megapixel snappers on the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper for taking selfies and video calling. It runs Android Oreo operating system out-of-the-box with Samsung UX on top and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S9 Plus features a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED QHD+ display and is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9810 octa-core processor with Mali G72MP18 GPU, coupled with 6GB RAM. This one too comes with two 12-megapixel camera sensors on the back. On the front, the device features 8-megapixel auto-focus camera with wide-angle lens and f/1.7 aperture. It runs Android Oreo operating system out-of-the-box and is powered by a 3,500mAh battery.
