Rumours about the OPPO Find Z just refused to die despite the launch of the Find X last year. A couple of weeks back, it was rumoured that OPPO’s next flagship series will be called Find Z. That rumour has now been debunked by OPPO’s vice-president Shen Yiren Brian.

In a Weibo post recently, the OPPO VP hinted that there wasn’t going to be any product bearing the Find Z moniker. He drew our minds to the fact that during the Find X launch conference last year, OPPO had disclosed that the Find series is now known as Find X series.

The defunct Find series is OPPO’s flagship series with the last model being the Find 7 launched in 2014. Since then, there have been countless rumours that the next device would be the Find Z but OPPO stunned us with the release of the Find X. Since the series is now known as Find X, there are speculations that the next model will be known as Find X2. OPPO had hinted that it will launch a Snapdragon 855 device this year and we think that model may be the Find X2.
