A couple of months ago the ZTE Axon 10 Pro got 20x hybrid zoom via a software update from the company. This time ZTE is showing off the Axon 10 Pro 5G’s 20x hybrid zoom capabilities before the device’s slated launch. Clearly, ZTE is pretty proud of the setup they have going on here, and it’s not much of a surprise to see why.
On the backside, the phone has a triple camera setup that includes an OIS enabled 48-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide 20-megapixel lens, and an OIS assisted 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capabilities. The front notch houses a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G is IP68 certified to ensure that it’s dust-proof and waterproof. It comes equipped with a 6.47-inch full HD AMOLED display with a little teardrop notch too. There’s even an under display fingeprint sensor on-board. The Snapdragon 855 SoC cocmes as a standard, and for 5G connectivity we’ve got the Snapdragon X50 5G modem. Backing that up we’ve got up to12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
In the software department, the smartphone comes running MiFavor 9.1 user interface based Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the-box. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that comes with wireless charging support as well as support for Quick Charge 4+ fast charging technology.
As of right now, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model of the smartphone is available for reservation in China for a price of 4,999 yuan, which roughly converts to $726. If you’re not a big fan of blue, then you’re out of luck. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G comes exclusively in blue, though it’s certainly not a bad look for the device.
