After launching the Vivo Z5x as its first punch-hole display phone in May, Vivo will debuting the Vivo Z5 smartphone on July 31. The Chinese firm has already confirmed the key specs of the Vivo Z5 and it has also released its official renders. Fresh set of hands-on images of the smartphone has appeared on Weibo to showcase its real appeal.

Vivo Z5 Hands-On Images

The Vivo Z5 hands-on photos include the retail box of the phone and images of the handset. The handset can be seen sporting a waterdrop notch enabled display. The chin of the device is a bit thick. The rear panel of the phone flaunts a gradient appeal and its fitted with a triple camera setup. It seems to be equipped with a high gloss polycarbonate chassis.

The right spine of the phone features a volume rocker and a power key. The Jovi AI assistant button seems to be available on the left side of the device. The bottom edge of the smartphone features an external storage, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The retail box of the Vivo Z5 seems to include the Vivo V2323A-CN charger that carries support for up to 22.5W fast charging.

Vivo Z5 Specifications

The Vivo Z5 features a full HD+ 6.38-inch S-AMOLED display. It offers 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is embedded with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The back panel of the phone has 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera setup and it is equipped with a selfie shooter of 32-megapixel.

The Android 9 Pie OS runs on the Vivo Z5 along with FunTouch OS UI that tags along Multi-Turbo technology for smoother performance. The handset houses a 4,500mAh battery and it is fueled by Snapdragon 712 chipset. It is speculated that the company may sell the Vivo Z5 in 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variants.

As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing and availability of the Vivo Z5 phone. Apart from the Purple shown in the Vivo Z5 hands-on images, it will be also available in Black and gradient White colors.
