Earlier this week, ZTE’s Axon 10 Pro 5G officially launched in the Chinese market and was made available for purchase through online platforms like ZTE Mall, JD, Suning, Tmall, etc. The phone was launched with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, for a price of 4,999 Yuan that roughly converts to $720.

Now, the company has silently launched a new variant of the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G smartphone that packs 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is now available for purchase in China for a price of 5,799 Yuan, roughly $823.

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G, which is IP68 certified to ensure that it’s dust-proof and waterproof, comes equipped with a 6.47-inch AMOLED display having a waterdrop notch, Full HD+ screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 92% screen-to-body ratio, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an in-screen fingerprint reader.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform and for 5G connectivity, the SD855 chip is paired with the Snapdragon X50 5G modem. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

On the back, the phone has a triple camera setup that includes an OIS enabled 48-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide 20-megapixel lens, and an OIS assisted 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capabilities. The front notch houses a 20-megapixel selfie camera.

In the software department, the smartphone comes running MiFavor 9.1 user interface based Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the-box. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that comes with wireless charging support as well as support for Quick Charge 4+ fast charging technology.
