On Aug. 29, Redmi will be launching the MediaTek Helio G90T chipset powered Redmi Note 8 series in China. As expected, the series will include Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones. The Note 8 Pro will be arriving as the first Redmi phone with four rear-mounted cameras. It will be equipped with a main lens of 64-megapixel from Samsung. Earlier this week, a leaked snapshot of a video ad had appeared on Weibo to reveal the rear design of the dark green colored Redmi Note 8 Pro handset. Today, a real image of the smartphone has appeared to give a closer look at the rear design of the phone.

The below shown image shows that the appeal of the dark green variant of the Redmi Note 8 Pro is quite similar to the Redmi K20 / K20 Pro smartphone. The color appears towards the center and light towards the left and right edges. Both the edges are curved, and its texture also appears similar to the Redmi K20 series.

The top half of the phone features a vertical module that includes three camera sensors and below it is a fingerprint scanner. On its right is the fourth camera sensor placed below the LED flash.

The Helio G90T processor will be powering the smartphone. Recent reports have revealed that the phone will be equipped with features like NFC and IR blaster. It may come with a 5,000mAh battery that will carry support for 18W fast charging. For heat dissipation, the Note 8 Pro will be coming with liquid cooling technology.

As far as the Redmi Note 8 is concerned, it will be also featuring a quad camera setup. It is speculated to come equipped with a 48-megapixel primary lens and it could be fueled by Helio G90. It could be housing a 4,000mAh battery. The other details of the Redmi Note 8 series are currently under the wraps. Probably, the Note 8 and Note 8 Pro phones could be equipped with the same 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with dot notch like the predecessor models.

Apart from launching the Redmi Note 8 series on Aug. 29, Redmi will be also taking off covers from its first Redmi TV.
