Vivo India has announced the Vivo Z1X smartphone in India. It has arrived as a more powerful edition of the Vivo Z1 Pro that had gone official in India in July. The Vivo Z1X has arrived with some exciting specifications such as punch-hole display, 48-megapixel triple cameras, large-sized battery with fast charge support and an in-screen fingerprint reader.
Vivo Z1X Specifications and Features
The Vivo Z1X that has 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm dimensions and 189.6 grams weight features a 6.38-inch Halo FullView S-AMOLED display. The waterdrop notch enabled screen produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is embedded with an in-screen fingerprint sensor that can the device in just 0.48 seconds.
The FunTouch OS 9.1 based Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device. The Snapdragon 712 chipset that includes an octa-core processor at 2.3GHz fuels the smartphone. The phone comes in 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM and it has a native storage of 128 GB. There is a dedicated microSD card slot on the device. The 4,500mAh battery that powers the phone is equipped with 22.5W FlashCharge technology from the company.
The front notch is the home for the 32-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The LED flash assisted triple camera system of the phone includes a 48-megapixel primary lens with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture for depth effects. The photography features available on the smartphone includes AI filter, backlight HDR, portrait mode, AR stickers, time-lapse photography, slow-motion video shooting, AI beauty, live photo, night mode and so on.
The Vivo Z1X is designed for gaming. The smartphone can allocate system resources for smoother gaming experience and it also offers 4D in-game vibration effects. The connectivity features available on the Vivo Z1X include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
Vivo Z1X Price and Release Date
The 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 Gb storage editions of the Vivo Z1X are respectively priced at Rs. 16,990 (~$238) and Rs. 18,990 (~$265). The smartphone comes in two color choices such as Fusion Blue and Phantom Purple.
The handset will go on sale on Sept. 13 at 12 PM through Vivo India’s online store and Flipkart. HDFC bank card owners can buy the smartphone with Rs. 1,250 discount. Customers can also take advantage of Rs. 6,000 benefits through Reliance Jio.
