The Nokia 7.2 is one of two smartphones HMD Global announced at IFA 2019. The phone is the closest rival of the Xiaomi Mi A3 when it comes to mid-range Android One smartphones. Check out the poll we created to see the more preferred one of the two.

The Nokia 7.2 has a starting price of €299 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB version and €349 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB version in Europe. It is set to go on sale by the end of September.

NokiaPowerUser reports that it will be arriving the US tomorrow, September 16, and will be available for pre-order on B&H Photo and BestBuy. However, it will be coming in a different configuration in the US.

Rather than the base model which has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or the top model which has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the Nokia 7.2 that will be sold in the US will have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. B&H Photo already has it listed for $349 and says pre-order begins at 12 am ET, Monday, September 16. It is available in Charcoal and Cyan Green.

BestBuy also has the phone listed for the same price of $349 or $58.34 per month but says it is coming soon.

The Nokia 7.2 has a 6.3-inch FHD+ PureDisplay with a waterdrop notch and is covered with Gorilla Glass 3. It has a PixelWorks processor for real-time SDR to HDR conversion.

There is a Snapdragon 660 processor under the hood which draws power from a 3500mAh battery. It has triple rear cameras with a ZEISS lens. The primary camera is a 48MP sensor with Quad-Pixel technology and it is paired with a 5MP depth sensor and an 8MP 118° ultrawide angle camera. It can record in 4K with spatial audio recording and also has a dedicated Night Mode. Inside the notch in front is a 20MP sensor.

The Nokia 7.2 has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated Google Assistant button, NFC, MicroSD card support, an audio jack, and FM radio. It runs Android 9 Pie out of the box and will get 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates.
