Huawei’s next-generation Mate series flagship smartphones are getting launched today in Munich, Germany. Now, hours ahead of the launch, Evan Blass has shared the image of Mate 30 RS Porsche Edition’s retail packaging.
From the image, we can see that the phone comes with a premium-looking Matte Black retail box. Inside the box, you’ll find the Mate 30 RS Porsche Design smartphone, hard back cover in the same color as the phone, wall adaptor, data cable, earphones, and a car charger as well. All the accessories included in the box are in Black color.

Recently leaked renders of the Mate 30 RS Porsche Design shows that the phone features quad-camera setup on the back but instead of circular housing on Mate 30 Pro, the camera sensors are housed inside a black-colored narrow strip that runs from the top towards the bottom. The LED flash is placed in the top-left corner, outside the camera housing.
Along with the image of retail packaging of the upcoming smartphone, Evan Blass has also shared new renders of the Mate 30 RS Porsche Edition in both the color options — Black and Red. As for the specifications, just like the Mate 30 Pro, we expect the Porsche Design edition to come powered by the company’s own Kirin 990 SoC and an AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate display.

The device is also expected to come with IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance. Both the smartphones are expected to come powered by EMUI 10 custom user interface based on the latest Android 10 operating system.
Just like its predecessors, the Mate 30 RS Porsche Design looks premium and thus, it will carry a hefty price tag. The Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design was priced at 12,999 Yuan (approx. $1,838) and we expect similar pricing with the upcoming smartphone as well.
To know for sure about the phone’s specifications, features, pricing and availability details, we will have to wait for the official launch event to take place which will begin today at 2:00 PM local time in Munich, Germany.
