This month, three of China’s top phone manufacturers have announced new wireless charging technologies that surpass wired charging on several other phones. First was Xiaomi with its Mi Charge Turbo 30W Wireless Charging, then OPPO announced its own 30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge technology, and a few days after, Huawei unveiled its own 27W Wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge which is available on the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro.

Wireless Charging

While some manufacturers are actively pushing wireless charging (Xiaomi is already working on 40W wireless charging technology) as the future of charging, there are other manufacturers like Vivo (and iQOO) whose latest NEX 3 5G smartphone skips the feature entirely and OnePlus whose soon-to-launch OnePlus 7T-series will support only Warp Charge 30T wired fast charging are yet to launch a device with support for wireless charging. Honor is another manufacturer that hasn’t jumped on the wireless charging train.

So for this week’s poll, we want to know if the lack of wireless charging can be a dealbreaker for you when purchasing a new phone or if it is a feature you don’t care much about.
