On Oct. 10, OPPO will be announcing the OPPO K5 smartphone as the successor of the OPPO K3 smartphone that was made official earlier this month. Through the same event, the Chinese manufacturer will be announcing the OPPO Reno Ace flagship smartphone. Few days ahead of launch, the prices of the two variants of the OPPO K5 smartphone have surfaced.

The leak reveals that the OPPO K5 will be releasing in China in two RAM variants such as 6 GB and 8 GB. Both models will come with an internal storage of 128 GB. They are rumored to arrive with respective price tags of 1,799 Yuan (~$251) and 1,999 Yuan (~$277). It is speculated that the Chinese manufacturer will be giving away OPPO MH135 earphones through a promotional offer for a limited period of time. The leak has no information on the pricing of the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB rumored variant of the OPPO K5 smartphone.

In comparison, the OPPO K3 was announced in three models in May such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These models were respectively priced at 1,599 Yuan (~$223), 1,899 Yuan (~$265) and 2,299 Yuan (~$321). Readers are advised to digest the pricing leak of the OPPO K5 with a pinch of salt as there is no concrete evidence to back it.
