Design Details

The new watches feature Awa indigo, a traditional dye from Tokushima, Japan. Artisans create Awa indigo through an intricate sedimentation process, resulting in a vivid, deep-blue pigment that has been used for centuries. Casio uses this rare dye to color the sub-dials, which display three different shades of blue. These colors reflect the ocean’s depth and transition as light hits the surfaces.

The OCW-S7000AP and OCW-T2600AP feature a black main dial with subtle wave-like patterns that mimic the movement of the ocean. The OCW-S6000AP adds a sapphire glass bezel with a spiral cut design, symbolizing powerful ocean waves. Casio applies a navy ion-plated coating to the titanium bezel and case to match the indigo tones.

Casio equips all three watches with Tough Solar technology for solar-powered operation, Multi-Band 6 for radio-controlled timekeeping across six global regions, and Bluetooth connectivity to sync with the Casio Watches smartphone app. The app offers automatic time adjustment, settings customization, and world time functionality for over 300 cities.

Casio designed all three watches with lightweight titanium cases and bands, which feature premium finishes like Zaratsu polishing for a smooth, distortion-free surface. The slim profiles of the watches ensure a comfortable fit at just 9.2-10.7 mm thickness.
