The OnePlus 7T already launched more than a week ago but OnePlus did not announce the OnePlus 7T Pro. That will launch this month, and when it arrives it will bring along a special edition called the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition.

OnePlus’ CEO and co-founder, Pete Lau, has shared a teaser of the phone’s retail box. The image was shared on Twitter and it shows the phone will come in a black box with a carbon fiber pattern. The box also has McLaren’s orange accent which should be the color of the interior.

Pete Lau does confirm the McLaren Editon is coming in response to tech Youtuber, Marques Brownlee’s (@MKBHD) reply to the original tweet. The official McLaren Automotive Twitter account also posted a  picture of the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition last week for Throwback Thursday.

Leaked specs of the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition say the phone will have a 6.67-inch 2K+ curved display with a 90Hz ratio. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor which will be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the back will sit a triple camera setup made up of a 48MP primary camera, a 16MP ultrawide angle camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The phone will have a pop-up selfie camera and like the OnePlus 7T, it will also run Android 10 out of the box.

The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition will have a textured-pattern underneath its rear glass, McLaren’s logo at the bottom as well as an orange accent that fades towards the middle of the frame. This model will be exclusive to certain markets.
