Xiaomi is backtracking on a statement its top executive made earlier this year and will be launching a new model for the Mi Note series. Actually, scratch that. It is launching not one but two new Mi Note phones. The two phones are the Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro.

Initially, we only knew about the Mi Note 10. Its retail box even leaked over a week ago. However, certification documents from Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) have revealed there will also be a Mi Note 10 Pro. The info was first posted on Twitter by Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414).

It was also reported that both phones have also been certified by Russia’s EEC. The Mi Note 10’s model number is revealed as M1910F4G while the Mi Note 10 Pro’s model number is M1910F4S. The specs of both phones are currently unknown, so we can’t say if these are new flagships or premium mid-range devices.

There have been reports the Mi Note 10 will launch by the end of the month but Xiaomi has kept mute on the device’s existence. The company usually schedules its launch events on Tuesdays which means October 29 should be the date of release. But with no official info yet as of today, the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro will probably launch next month.
