In the video we can see the main camera having a pretty decent dynamic range and colors are very close to the original. The 48MP sensor offers detailed photos with low noise and even if you zoom in, photos come out just fine. Also, the AI scene recognition can intelligently detect many kinds of scenes and automatically adjust the brightness, contrast, and saturation, making shooting effortless.
The 16MP Night Shot camera isn’t bad either. Of course, it can’t reach expensive flagship cameras but it gets the job done thanks to the pixel binning of the 48MP sensor that combines 4 pixels into 1 to allow more light in. What’s more, the selfie shooter is average with nice colors and details but with the beauty mode on, some details are missing due to the smoothing effect it applies on the skin. So, if you like natural and real photos, we suggest you take selfies using the normal mode.
As for the video recording, Armor 7 supports up to 4K and also features slow-motion, time-lapse, pro mode, underwater camera mode, GIF etc. Pretty neat for an affordable and rugged flagship that sports the Helio P90 AI SoC bundled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
