The Reno3 and Reno3 Pro had gone official in China in December 2019 as budget-friendly 5G smartphones. Earlier this month, the 4G version of the OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G was announced in India. It had arrived as the world’s first phone featuring a 44-megapixel dual selfie camera and it is also first ever phone to feature the Helio P95 SoC. A fresh report on 91mobiles states that the company is gearing up to introduce the Reno3 in international markets too. Citing information received from reputed tipster Ishan Agarwal, the publication has claimed that the Reno3 global variant will be fueled by Helio P90 chipset.

It appears that the Reno3 global edition will be similar to the Chinese variant. Hence, the smartphone is expected to come with a single punch-hole on its display. The tipster revealed that it will be featuring a 44-megapixel selfie snapper. The Chinese variant has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The phone is expected to sport a 6.4-inch display that offers Full HD+ resolution along with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Reno3 for China has a waterdrop notch screen.

The Reno3 has a 64-megapixel main lens in its quad-camera setup. The new leak reveals that its global edition will have a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter and a 2-megapixel mono sensor. The quad cameras will support 4K video shooting and hybrid zoom.

The Dimensity 1000L 5G chipset powers the Reno3. As mentioned above, it will be swapped by Helio P90 on the global version. The SoC will be coupled with 8 GB of RAM. The phone will offer 128 GB of storage. It will be packed with a 4,025mAh battery.

The Reno3 global version will be running on ColorOS 7 based Android 10. It will come in colors like Sky White, Midnight Black, and Aurora Blue. There is no word on its pricing.
