Redmi will be announcing the Redmi K30 Pro 5G smartphone on the coming Tuesday. It will be arriving as the successor for the Redmi K20 Pro that was received well by critics and general users. The Redmi K30 phone that went official in December sported a dual punch-hole display. Hence, it was speculated that the Redmi K30 Pro may sport the same design. However, recent reports have revealed that the Redmi K30 Pro will be equipped with a notch-less display and a pop-up selfie snapper like the predecessor phone. The company has released fresh posters to reveal the appearance of its display. Xiaomi Redmi Product Director Wang Teng Thomas revealed that the Redmi K30 Pro supports the conventional 60Hz refresh rate.

in the new posters, the Redmi K30 Pro’s notch-less screen can be seen surrounded by thin-bezels. Like the predecessor model, the Redmi K30 Pro seems to be equipped with LED lights on the edges of the pop-up camera module. There is no confirmation whether the LEDs will be visual flair, or it will function as camera flash. The display of the phone will be integrated with a fingerprint reader.

The handset will be arriving in at least two colors like green and silver/white. There is a round-shaped camera module on the backside of the device. It is equipped with four cameras and an LED flash can be seen below the camera housing. The 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor is expected to be available on the device as the primary shooter.

Redmi K30 Pro 60Hz screen

Wang Teng Thomas revealed on Weibo that the Redmi K30 Pro’s display will support 60Hz refresh rate. Most of the Snapdragon 865 SoC powered phones are equipped with higher refresh rates. However, the recently launched iQOO 3 5G phone sported a punch-hole display with 60Hz refresh rate.

Thomas said that the Redmi K30 Pro has a Samsung AMOLED display. Even though the display does not offer high refresh rates, it is remarkable when it comes to color reproduction, brightness, color accuracy and more.
