Samsung is churning out phones without a care in the world. Just a few days ago, it announced the Galaxy A41 in Japan and a few days before then the Galaxy M21 was also launched in India. Now it has announced the Galaxy A31, another mid-range phone. And the Galaxy M41 and Galaxy A71 5G are expected to also launch soon.

Galaxy A31 featured

The Galaxy A31 packs a 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-U display. There is an octa-core processor with two cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six cores clocked at 1.7GHz inside the device but Samsung didn’t reveal the name of the chipset in the press release. However, a Geekbench listing from early this month revealed it is MediaTek’s Helio P65 processor.

The phone is available in two configurations – 4GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB RAM + 128GB. A MicroSD card slot will allow users to add up to an additional 512GB of storage.

Like a lot of the Samsung phones released this year, the Galaxy A31 also has a rectangular camera module. This houses four sensors – a 48MP f/2.0 primary camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle camera, a 5Mp f/2.4 depth sensor, and a 5MP f.2.4 macro camera. The selfie camera is a 20MP f/2.2 sensor.

The Galaxy A31 packs a 5000mAh battery but supports just 15W fast charging. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner and support for Samsung Pay. It also runs Android 10 out of the box.
