The Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition smartphones were made official earlier this week. As confirmed at the event, Redmi carried out the first sales of the K30 Pro duo today at 10 AM in China. The company confirmed through Weibo that the total sales of both phones exceeded 100 million Yuan in just 30 seconds.

The Redmi K30 Pro is currently the cheapest Snapdragon 865 mobile platform powered smartphone as it comes with a price tag of 2,999 Yuan (~$425) for 6 GB RAM (LPDDR4X) + 128 GB storage base variant. The other editions of the K30 Pro and the K30 Pro Zoom Edition phone feature LPDDR5 RAM. Both models ship with UFS 3.1 storage.

The Redmi K30 Pro comes in higher options such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. They are priced at 3,399 Yuan (~$480) and 3,699 Yuan (~$525), respectively.

The camera-focused Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition comes in two choices such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Their respective price tags are 3,799 Yuan (~$538) and 3,999 Yuan (~$566). The phone has a top model with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB storage which is priced at 4,499 Yuan (~$637). The 12 GB RAM variant is not yet available for purchase. The K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom Edition phones can be bought in four colors such as Space Gray, Moonlight White, Skye Blue and Purple.

In related news, an investigation of the MIUI camera app found in the latest beta of MIUI 11 revealed the existence of an Indian variant of the Redmi K30 Pro. It was also found that the phone could be heading to India as a POCO branded device. Hence, there is a possibility that the K30 Pro could be rebranded POCO F2 in India.
