When it launched last year, it ran Android 9 Pie out of the box. With HMD Global’s promise of two years of OS upgrades, the Nokia 4.2 is set to get Android 11 too.
Just like the update for the Nokia 3.2, HMD Global is rolling out the Android 10 update for the Nokia 4.2 in waves. There are more than 40 countries on the list and all are expected to get the update by April 14.
We are yet to see the changelog for the update but expect it to include Dark Mode, Smart Replies, a new gesture-based navigation, and March 2020’s security patch.
