OnePlus 8 Pro, the brand’s costliest mainstream flagship smartphone till date got off to a rough start. At first, some of the users were facing ‘green tint’ issue on their units similar to Galaxy S20 Ultra. But the company seems to have fixed it temporarily with an update last week. Followed by that, a set of few users reported ‘black crush’ issue. For which, the brand is offering refund, replacement, or free repair depending on what the customer wishes to will roll out an OTA update in the near future.   

Now, OnePlus is rolling out OxygenOS 10.5.6 update to the device with camera-related improvements.

OnePlus 8 Pro cameras

Users of OnePlus 8 Pro are receiving a new OTA update weighing about 125MB. The update bumps up the software build to OxygenOS 10.5.6. It does not bring any visual changes instead, it claims to fix certain known issues and improved the stability of the system.

The update also brings improvement to front camera shooting experience and overall stability. Also, it insists to refine the dirt detection capability so that the device can notify users to wipe off the camera lens when needed.
