The Meizu 17 series was launched last Friday and since then, the duo went on sale for two times. The company sold out all of its supplies in these sales as per an official Weibo post. The brand promised to keep up with demand and announced the next sale to take place on ‘Meizu Fan Day’ at 10 AM CST, May 17.

Both the Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro sport a 6.6-inch punch-hole AMOLED display but the panel on the Pro variant can refresh at a rate of 120Hz with the latest update. On the other hand, the standard version is limited to 90Hz.

They are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with support for 5G connectivity. The duo features the same 20MP selfie camera and a similar 5 LED dual-tone flash ring at the back. However, their quad-camera setup differs from each other, except for the identical 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor.

The standard Meizu 17 features a 12MP dedicated portrait camera, 8MP 118° ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth camera. On the other hand, the Meizu 17 Pro comes with an 8MP telephoto camera, 32MP 129° ultra-wide camera, and a 0.3MP TOF 3D sensor.

Other features of these handsets include Flyme 8.1 based on Android 10, 4,500 mAh battery, 30W wired fast charging, 27W wireless charging (Pro), WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, in-display fingerprint scanner, UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR5 RAM.
