A couple of days ago, Chinese smartphone maker Meizu had launched a new color variant for its flagship Meizu 17 Pro — Moonlight Blue. This was in addition to the existing color options offered by the company — Blue, Azure, and White.

Starting from today, the new Meizu 17 Pro Moonlight Blue is officially available for purchase in the Chinese market. The front panel of this new variant is in White color while the rest of the body seems similar to the Azure color.

Similar to the other variants, this new variant also comes with a Ceramic body. It is priced at 4,299 yuan (~$614) for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 4,699 yuan (~$671).

The Meizu 17 Pro comes with a 6.6-inch custom Samsung AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 92.2% screen to body ratio. The AMOLED panel supports the 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate.

Soon after its official launch, the smartphone received support for the 120Hz refresh rate as well as DC Dimming through an over-the-air (OTA) update.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G chipset which has support for both SA/NSA 5G. It also has a new mSmart 5G technology which the company says improves battery life when using the new-age cellular network.

As for the camera setup, the smartphone features a quad-camera setup on the back that includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 f/1.8 primary camera, an 8MP f/2.4 79mm telephoto camera sensor, a 32MP sensor to capture up to 8x lossless zoom samples, and ToF sensor.

On the front side, there’s a 20MP snapper for taking selfies and video calling. The phone also has stereo speakers, NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner. It runs Android 10 OS with Flyme OS 8.1 on top. The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging and 27W wireless fast charging.
