The Realme V5 will go official in China tomorrow. It will be debuting with the Dimensity 720, which is the latest 5G-ready chipset from MediaTek for mid-range devices. After the OPPO A72 5G that went on sale recently, the Realme V5 will be the second phone to arrive in China with the Dimensity 720. The handset is scheduled to go official tomorrow in China. Recently, it was spotted at AnTuTu benchmarks. Today, the device has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.

It is known that RMX2111 / RMX2112 are the model numbers of the upcoming Realme V5 phone. The handset that has appeared with its model number on Geekbench 4 states that it has scored 2493 in the single-core test and 6555 in the multi-core test.

The Dimensity 720 chipset is mentioned with its MT6853V/ZA model number on Geekbench. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM and the device runs on Android 10 OS.

It is speculated that the handset will be available in China in 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variants in the home market. It is expected to land in China as Realme’s cheapest 5G smartphone. Rumors are rife that the Realme RMX2121 phone that was recently spotted on TENAA could be the more advanced version of the Realme V5. Probably, it may end up as Realme V5 Pro.
