Huawei and its sub-brand Honor, which have already launch Smart TVs in the market under the “Smart Screen” branding. Now, it seems that both the brands are all set to launch new gaming monitors, dubbed as “Smart Display.”

A few days ago, Huawei Smart Display had passed the 3C certification process, which confirmed three models — AD80HN, AD80HW, and AD80XX. It has also been confirmed that the display panel has been supplied by BOE.

It is also being reported that there won’t be any different in terms of specifications and features between Huawei and Honor Smart Display monitors, apart from the different logo placed on them.

Among the three monitors getting launched, one of them is a Gaming Monitor, featuring support for a 240Hz refresh rate as well as mini-LED partition backlight. The three monitors will cover the full range — high-end, mid-range, and low-range.

One of the models is said to come with a 32-inch panel and the same mini-LED panel. They also reportedly have special compatibility mode with Honor smartphones, being a part of the Huawei ecosystem.

Traditionally, Honor-branded devices have been priced lower compared to Huawei devices. So, it remains to be seen how the upcoming monitors are priced, given that report indicates that they are basically the same with different branding.
