OnePlus 8T has been confirmed to launch on October 14. Even most of its specifications have leaked in the past few days along with 3D CAD renders exposing its entire despite. Despite all of it, the company has officially partnered with TechRadar to reveal the complete specifications of OnePlus 8T’s display.

The information regarding the display of OnePlus 8T comes from the CEO Pete Lau himself. According to him, the upcoming OnePlus 8T will feature a 6.55-inch flexible AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2.5D curved glass.

Most importantly, it will have a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 0.3 JNCD (Just Noticeable Color Difference), and 91.9% screen-to-body ratio. That means the bezel surrounding the screen on this handset will be even slimmer than OnePlus 8 Pro despite ditching curved aesthetics.

Mr Lau also added that the OnePus 8T had gone through DisplayMate’s rigorous screen tests to achieve an A+ rating. Earlier today, he also said that the new OnePlus smartphone will be lag-free for 3 years on Weibo.

Having said that, although the CEO did not mention the resolution of the display, the leaked specifications exposed the device to arrive with an FHD+ panel, instead of QHD+ on the OnePlus 8 Pro.

According to previous leaks, the OnePlus 8T will feature a Samsung Galaxy A/Galaxy M series design, One UI lookalike OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 48MP (wide) + 16MP (ultra-wide) + 5MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) quad-camera setup, 32MP punch-hole selfie camera, 4,500mAh battery, and 65W fast charging borrowed from OPPO.
