In fact, the HUAWEI Mate40 Pro scored 136 points and 104 points in DXOMARK Camera and Selfie tests claiming the first position from Mi 10 Ultra and HUAWEI P40 Pro respectively.

As for cons, the ultra-wide camera offers a narrow field of view, occasional color quantization and ghosting artifacts in videos, variations in sharpness in videos when walking, and more.

The HUAWEI P40 Pro unveiled in March led the DXOMARK Camera chart up until Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra showed up. Now, once again, Huawei has claimed the top position with the new HUAWEI Mate40 Pro.
