In early 2019, Samsung introduced Galaxy M series as an online-exclusive lineup of smartphones in India. The devices in this series were initially exclusive to Amazon India and Samsung online store. Later, they were made available in select offline stores and other countries.

Earlier this month, the South Korean tech giant unveiled another new series called Galaxy F. This one is exclusive to India’s largest online retailer Flipkart. The first phone in this series is Galaxy F41. Now, the company is readying to launch the second smartphone in the series.

Samsung Galaxy F41 first look

The information about Samsung’s next Galaxy F series device comes from SamMobile. According to the publication, it will bear the model number SM-F127G.

That publication suggests that this device could go official as Galaxy F12. That means we can expect it to feature similar specs as the upcoming Galaxy M12. Because the Galaxy F41 is literally a Galaxy M31 without the fourth camera sensor.

That said, it is good to have options at every price range. However, the Galaxy M and Galaxy F series may collide with each other as they feature identical design, specs, and price (at least the first model) in the long run. The only difference between the two is their availability.

We hope Samsung will work on to differentiate between these two online-exclusive series so that customers don’t get confused with the launch of new models.
