OnePlus 8T is the company’s flagship smartphone, which went on sale in China last month, days after the phone was officially unveiled. It was unveiled in two variants based on the memory configuration — 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.

While the 8GB RAM model has been on sale in China since last month, the company is now finally starting to sell the top-end variant which packs 12GB RAM and comes with 256GB of internal storage. The device is now available for purchase through JD.com for a price of 3,699 yuan which roughly converts to $562.

The smartphone is available in two color options — Aquamarine Green, and Lunar Silver. It’s noteworthy that the OnePlus 8T is cheaper in China compared to other regions.

Coming to the specifications, the device features a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display and supports in-display fingerprint unlocking. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, along with Adreno 650 GPU.

In the camera department, there’s a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48MP + 16MP + 5MP + 2MP sensors. On the front side, the smartphone packs a Sony IMX471 16MP camera sensor for taking selfies and video calling.

The device is running the latest Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own HydrogenOS 11 (Chinese version of OxygenOS) custom user interface on top. It comes powered by a 4,500mAh battery that has support for Warp Charge 65 fast charging technology that can charge the phone up to 70 percent in just 20 minutes.
