The Galaxy M12 has been busy bagging various certifications. At the beginning of this month, the smartphone had received approvals from Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG authorities. Later, the Samsung phone was also certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Now, it has received certification from Thailand’s National Broadcasting Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) authority. The listing (via) has confirmed the moniker and model number of the device.

The NBTC listing states that the SM-M127F / DS Samsung phone will be arriving in the market as the Galaxy M12. Except for stating that it is an LTE phone, the listing has no information on its other specs. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications had revealed a few specs like 2.4GHz Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth 5.0, and Android 11 OS. These listings also revealed that the SM-M127G / DS and SM-F127G / DS model numbers are also associated with the Galaxy M12.

While the BIS listing did not reveal any specifications of the phone, its appearance at FCC confirmed that it is backed by a 6,000mAh battery. The handset was also spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking platform recently. It revealed that the Exynos 850 chipset is present under the hood of the device. The SoC was found to be coupled with 3 GB of RAM.

The CAD renders of the Galaxy M12 that surfaced last month revealed that the Galaxy M12 has a 6.5-inch display with an Infinity-V notch design. The images showed that the device is equipped with a square-shaped quad-camera module on its back and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. With many certifications in tow, there is a possibility that the Galaxy M12 may go official in January.
