OnePlus is rolling out a new system update for its 2018 flagship smartphones – OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. This update comes with build number OxygenOS 10.3.9 and does not bring any new features.

The OxygenOS 10.3.9 update for the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 6T bumps up the security patch level to February 2021. Further, it also brings an updated GMS (Google Mobile Services) package – December 2020.

As per the changelog, the latest update also comes with fixes for some known issues, Lastly, it is also said to improve system stability.

The new update for the OnePlus 6 series is being rolled out in batches across the world. Hence, it may take time to reach every user.

That said, OnePlus has so far only updated three of its devices (OnePlus 8 series, OnePlus Nord) to Android 11 (OxygenOS 11). Whereas, four other models (OnePlus 7 and 7T series) are currently receiving Open Beta builds.

The brand is yet to release OxygenOS 11 Open Beta builds for the OnePlus 6/6T, OnePlus Nord N10 5G, and OnePlus Nord N100.
