Xiaomi launched the Mi 10 Youth Edition in late April. The company even unveiled MIUI 12 at the same event. However, the smartphone debuted with MIUI 11 based on Android 10. It was updated to MIUI 12 a couple of months later and also received the Android 11 update by the end of 2020. Now, over a year after its release, the handset has started receiving the MIUI 12.5 update.

MIUI 12.5 is the latest version of Xiaomi’s mobile operating system. The new version brings improvements to devices running MIUI 12

The company has been rolling out MIUI 12.5 stable update to eligible devices in China for the past few days. The latest phone to get it is Mi 10 Youth Edition, which is also known as Mi 10 Lite Zoom.

The MIUI 12.5 update for the Mi 10 Youth Edition arrives with build number V12.5.2.0.RJVCNXM. This software build is in the ‘Stable Beta’ as of now. This means it is being seeded out in batches for a select few users.

Anyway, the update should be available for all users in the coming days. Lastly, since the Mi 10 Youth Edition (aka Mi 10 Lite Zoom) is a China-exclusive smartphone, there’s no other regional MIUI build for this headset.
