Realme has confirmed that the company will be launching its new smartphone in the Indian market, Realme X7 Max on 31st May. This will be the third device in the Realme X7 lineup in the Indian market after the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro.

It has also been revealed that the smartphone will be sold exclusively via online marketplace Flipkart in India. The phone, which is a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo launched in China, is touted to be the first MediaTek Dimensity 1200-powered smartphone in India.

Realme X7 Max India Launch Date

Along with the Realme X7 Max, the China-based manufacturer is also expected to launch new Realme Smart TVs in 43-inch and 50-inch models, featuring Dolby Vision-enabled 4K display and support for Dolby Atmos audio. Realme could also launch some other accessories that were launched globally a few days back.

The company has also revealed the AnTuTu benchmark scores for the device which is around 7,00,600 points. Realme has also partnered with Asphalt 9 Legends for the smartphone but more details of this partnership remain unknown.

Ahead of the official launch of Realme X7 Max in India, its configurations/variants, as well as color options, have leaked online. The device will be available in two options — 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. The company will offer three color options — Mercury Silver, Asteroid Black, and Milky Way.

Realme has published a dedicated Realme X7 Max 5G page which reveals that the phone will have a punch-hole display and minimal bezels. Being a rebranded Realme GT Neo, we expect the phone to sport a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It will be powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC.

The Dimensity 1200 is an octa-core that has one Cortex-A78 core clocked at 3GHz, three Cortex-A78 Super cores clocked at 2.6GHz, and four efficient Arm Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz. It is claimed to offer 22% faster CPU performance and is 25% more power-efficient compared to the last generation.

As for the camera, there will be a triple-camera setup on the back featuring a 64-megapixel f/1.8 primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. On the front side, we expect a 16-megapixel snapper.

It will run the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Realme UI on top. The phone will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for either 50W or 60W fast charging technology.
