Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset is the flagship smartphone processor from the brand and after that, the company has launched several new mid-range and premium chips for mobile phones. Now, we have information about the upcoming flagship SoC.

Well-known leakster Evan Blass has revealed information about the Qualcomm SM8450 chip, which will be launched as the successor of the Snapdragon 888 SoC, powering the next generation of flagship phones.

Evan Blass claims that the chipset will be manufactured using the 4nm process. For those who are unaware, the current-generation Snapdragon 888 SoC is manufactured using the 5nm process.

It is said that the processor will come packed with a Snapdragon X65 5G Modem-RF system. Launched in February this year, the modem promises to bring superior speed and support for up to 10Gbps speeds on both standalone and non-standalone 5G networks.

Snapdragon 732G

The chipset will have Kryo 780 CPU built on ARM Cortex v9 technology along with Adreno 730 GPU, Adreno 665 Video Processing Unit (VPU), Adreno 1195 Display Processing Unit (DPU). For image processing, the chipset will come with Spectra 680 ISP.

It will support quad-channel package-on-package LPDDR5 RAM. It will also support up to 1GHz mmWave downlink and 400MHz Sub-6 D along with support for Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 subsystem. It is said to have Qualcomm secure processing unit (SPU260) as well as Qualcomm Aqstic WCD9380/WCD9385 audio codec.
