Last week, Xiaomi released an MIUI build for the unreleased Mi 11 Lite Indian variant. On the same day, one of the company executives also teased this phone on Twitter. Now, days later, Manu Jain, the Managing Director of Xiaomi India tweets yet another teaser.
Mi Fans, nowadays phones are:
a) Either 𝗟𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 (both specs & weight 😜)
b) Or absolutely 𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 (both weight & features 😅)Wouldn't it be awesome if we got BEST of both the worlds? Truly "loaded + super thin & light"!

The new teaser for the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite merely teases the lightness of the said smartphone. Since the device is already official, we know everything about it and there’s nothing left to learn more.
However, Xiaomi India’s marketing team wants to hype up the phone like any other brand before its release in the country. Hence, the new teaser after a week still does not reveal the launch date. Hopefully, the company announces it soon.
As far as the handset is concerned, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is currently one of the thinnest and lightest smartphones in the world. It measures only 6.81mm in thickness and weighs 157g.
The device comes with a 6.55-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, 64MP + 8MP + 5MP triple camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, dual stereo speakers, MIUI 12 based on Android 11, 4,250mAh battery, and 33W fast charging.
Going by the handset’s price in other markets, it should cost more than the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max in India. Unfortunately, this price segment is filled with 5G-enabled phones. Hence, the Mi 11 Lite will have intense competition.
In our opinion, Xiaomi should also bring the Mi 11 Lite 5G with Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G to India. But that does not seem to on the cards for now.
