Chinese handset maker vivo launched the vivo S9 in China in early March. This smartphone was accompanied by vivo S9e. It has been only three months since their release. However, information regarding vivo S10 has already started popping up on the internet.

Popular and reliable leakster Digital Chat Station reveals that the vivo S10 is launching soon to compete with the newly introduced OPPO Reno6 series. He also tips the design of this smartphone.

According to him, the vivo S10 will feature an L-shaped camera setup on its back. Additionally, he says that the forthcoming vivo X70 series will also sport a similar design. This means vivo is finally giving up on its overused triangular camera array,

Unfortunately, the leaker does not say anything else about the vivo S10. Hence, the device’s specifications, launch date, and price are under the wraps for now.

The current-gen vivo S9 debuted as the world’s first smartphone with a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC. The phone features a 6.44-inch FHD+ HDR10+-certified OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The panel also has a TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort Certification, an SGS Seamless certification, a wide notch, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The handset comes equipped with a 44MP (wide, autofocus) + 8MP (ultra-wide) dual selfie camera and dual front-facing LED flashlights. Whereas, the rear camera setup includes a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper.

The vivo S9 runs OriginOS based on Android 11. Last but not least, it is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
