Vivo has announced the Vivo Y73 smartphone in India. Fuelled by the Helio G95 chipset, the Y73 is the most powerful Y-series phone from the brand. The handset comes with other exciting features like a tall aspect ratio screen, 64-megapixel triple cameras, 33W fast charging, and an ultra-thin design.

The Vivo Y73 features an attractive design as it is equipped with a diamond-patterned anti-fingerprint AG glass on the back. The company claims that the device only 170 grams and it has an ultra-thin profile of 7.38mm. It has a 6.44-inch AMOLED display that supports a Full HD+ resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, 408ppi pixel density, and HDR10.

The MediaTek Helio G95 chipset powers the handset with 8 GB of RAM and 3 GB of extended RAM. The phone ships with 128 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging.

It has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The rear camera array of the phone features a 64-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth helper. The usual connectivity options like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Vivo Y73 has arrived with a price tag of Rs 20,990 (~$315) in India and it comes in Diamond Flare (blue gradient) and Roman Black (without diamond pattern). Buyers of the handset can take advantage of Rs 1,000 (~$14) cashback through HDFC Bank cards. The handset will be available for purchase through platforms like Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Reliance Jio stores, Croma, Poorvika Mobiles, and Vijay Sales from June 12.
