Last week, Android Police’s Max Weinbach claimed that Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3, Galaxy Watch4, and Galaxy Watch Active4 on Aug. 3. Devices bearing model numbers such as SM-R885 and SM-R880 have received certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). These appear to be the LTE and Wi-Fi variants of the upcoming Galaxy Watch4.

The SM-R885 model is found to be equipped with support for LTE variants and other connectivity features such as dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC. The listing reveals that the model number of its battery is EB-BR880ABY. Previous listings have revealed that this battery has a capacity of 240mAh. It is equipped with a wireless charge EP-OR825, which is known for supporting 5W wireless charging.

Rumors surrounding the Galaxy Watch4 have revealed that it will be available in 42mm (or 41mm) and 46mm (or 45mm) sizes. The company is also rumored to launch Galaxy Watch Active4 alongside it and it is expected to arrive in 40mm and 42mm sizes.
The Galaxy Watch4 and Watch Active4 are expected to run on a renewed version of the WearOS developed by Google in collaboration with Samsung and Fitbit. The OS is said to have an overlay of OneUI by Samsung. The Active model is rumored to arrive with a titanium alloy body, narrow bezels with 2D glass, and a 5nm chip. It is also rumored to arrive in a stainless-steel version. The Watch4 and Active4 models are unlikely to support non-invasive blood sugar level monitoring. The LTE variant of the Watch4 is also expected to arrive in India as it has bagged certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
