In April, Vivo announced the Vivo V21, Vivo V21 5G, and V21e smartphones in Malaysia. Among these three phones, India was treated with only the V21 5G handset. Fresh information shared by 91mobiles reveals that the Vivo will soon announce the Vivo V21e 5G smartphone in India. To recollect the V21e that went official in Malaysia was a 4G phone powered by the Snapdragon 720G chip, but the rumor mill has been speculating on the existence of a Dimensity 700 SoC powered V21e 5G.

Citing leaker Ishan Agarwal as the source, the publication revealed that the Vivo V21e 5G has a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution. The Dimensity 700 5G chip powers the phone with 8 GB of RAM.

It may feature 128 GB of built-in storage, and for additional storage, it may come with a dedicated microSD card slot. The device could be backed by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 44W rapid charging.

The V21e 5G may flaunt a front camera of 32-megapixel. Its rear shell could be equipped with a 64-megapixel primary camera an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens.

In comparison, the V21e 4G has a 6.44-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, Snapdragon 720G, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with 33W rapid charging. It has a 44-megapixel front camera, and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system. It debuted with a pricing of Rs 29,990 (~$410) in India. As far as its 5G variant is concerned, there is no word on its pricing.
