Known Chinese rugged phone maker AGM has just teased a new device. This is an upcoming brick phone that appears to be similar to the vintage Motorola Dynatac (which was first launched in 1983), with the company shared the teased online.

Looking at the image poster, the company is working on a new brick phone, which is quite different from the modern day smartphone. While brick phones are no longer in popular demand in the current market, AGM is apparently seeking to revive this type of phones. The image poster reveals the device’s design. It features a physical keypad on the front along with a display that seems smaller than a conventional smartphone from this day and age.

Notably, the image poster reveals certain applications on the screen of the brick phone. These apps are placed in grid like manner and includes WeChat and TikTok social media platforms along with system apps like camera. This implies that the upcoming AGM brick phone will also feature a camera sensor on the back. AGM working on a brick phone is a big difference from other phone makers that are working to offer devices that are thinner and lighter.

Although, this rugged brick phone could be used by those that require endurance from their handset. In other words, we can expected the phone to be drop resistance, and likely even water resistance as well. Unfortunately, this is still an image teaser and the company has yet to reveal any finer details regarding the brick phone. So stay tuned for more updates.
