OPPO silently unveiled the OPPO Reno6 Z in Thailand. It has arrived as the successor to the Reno5 Z that debuted a few months ago in some Asian markets. Like the other Reno6 series phones, the Reno6 Z features an attractive Reno Glow design. At the front, it features a punch-hole display that supports only a 60Hz refresh rate. The handset comes with other attractive features like a 64-megapixel triple camera system and a decent battery.

OPPO Reno6 Z specifications and features

The OPPO Reno6 Z has a 6.4-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that offers 800 nits peak brightness and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen is integrated with a fingerprint scanner, and the display punch-hole houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera that can capture stabilized 30fps 1080p videos.

The triple camera unit available on the phone’s back has a 64-megapixel main camera, a 119-degree 8-megapixel superwide sensor, and a 2-megapixel camera for macro shots. It supports 30fps 4K video recording and 120fps 1080p slow-motion shooting.

The Reno6 Z draws power from Dimensity 800U chip and a 4,310mAh battery that comes with VOOC 4.0 30W rapid charging support. The phone ships with 8 GB of RAM, up to 5 GB of extended RAM, and 128 GB of built-in storage. The usual connectivity features including a 3.5mm audio jack are also available on the device. The handset runs on Android 11 OS with ColorOS 11.1.

OPPO Reno6 Z pricing and availability

OPPO Thailand is yet to reveal Reno6 Z’s pricing and availability. It is listed with an expected price tag of VND 9,490,000 (~$412) on OPPO Vietnam’s site. The handset comes in two hues such as Aurora and Stellar Black.
