OPPO will be announcing the OPPO Watch 2 smartwatch on July 27 in China. Ahead of the launch, reputed tipster Evan Blass has shared leaked images of the Watch 2 to reveal its design.

The images show that the OPPO Watch 2 will carry support for calling like the predecessor OPPO Watch from last year. Probably, the Watch 2 will come with e-SIM support in China. There was no e-SIM support on the global version of the OPPO Watch. Hence, it is unclear whether its successor will have calling support for the global markets.

Another image shows Watch 2 displaying map directions. This indicates that the smartwatch will feature a built-in GPS like its previous generation. The images also show that the Watch 2 sports a curvy display. The Chinese manufacturer is yet to share the specifications of the Watch 2.

Past reports have revealed that the OPPO Watch 2 will be driven by the Snapdragon Wear 4100 chip and Apollo 4s. It is expected to offer other features like LTE support, stress detection, a new OPPO Relax app, ColorOS, and RTOS for extended battery life.

The Watch 2 is expected to arrive in 42mm and 46mm sizes, and it is likely to arrive in multiple colors such as Mine Shaft, Gold Sand, Water Leaf, and Matisse. The company is also rumored to be working on another smartwatch named OPPO Watch Free. Unfortunately, the rumor mill is yet to reveal any details of this device.
