Kuo stated that these refreshed MacBook Air models will feature an “all new design” with a form factor similar to the upcoming MacBook Pro models, which are also rumored to feature Mini LED displays with flatter top and bottom edges. Notably, previous reports had also stated that the new MacBook Air laptops will sports the newer Apple M2 chipset and a MagSafe branded magnetic power cable as well.

Furthermore, Kuo added that the Cupertino based giant will also discontinue the existing M1 MacBook Air after the new Mini LED model enters mass production. In other words, this could also affect the pricing of these notebooks. Kuo believes that after the discontinuation of the M1 MacBook Air, the redesigned model will likely start from the same price of 999 US Dollars.

Notably, Chinese manufacturer BOE will supply the Mini LED display panels for the new MacBook Air. On the other hand, LG, Sharp, and Foxconn subsidiary GIS will supply the Mini LED displays for the higher end MacBook Pro models as per Kuo (Via MacRumors).
